As an artist, I had the privilege of creating "The Sanctuary" as a special gift for a client's 25th wedding anniversary. The client specifically requested an abstract portrait of a stag with touches of silver to commemorate this milestone occasion.

To begin the process, I engaged in detailed discussions with the client to understand their vision, preferences, and the significance they wanted the artwork to hold. Through these conversations, I gained insights into their love for nature and their appreciation for symbolism.

With these insights in mind, I embarked on translating their desires onto the canvas. I carefully sketched the majestic form of a stag, capturing its grace and strength. I focused on incorporating abstract elements to give the artwork a sense of ethereal beauty, allowing the viewer to interpret the piece in their own unique way.

To celebrate the 25th wedding anniversary, I chose to incorporate touches of silver into the painting. This choice symbolised the preciousness and longevity of their union. I applied silver accents, strategically placed to enhance the overall composition.

The color palette was selected to evoke a sense of tranquility and harmony. Earthy tones, complemented by cool blues and purple, created a serene and peaceful atmosphere. These colors harmonized with the essence of a sanctuary—a place of refuge and solace that represents the enduring love and sanctuary the couple has found within their marriage.

The final artwork, "The Sanctuary," embodied the essence of the client's desires. It captured the symbolism of a stag, representing strength, wisdom, and fidelity, while also encompassing the spirit of their 25 years together. The incorporation of silver accents added a touch of elegance and celebration to the piece.
