These paintings were made over the last 12mths. During that time I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer and went through treatment, surgery, recovery, and the period after.

The works changed as I did. The paintings move through diagnosis, survival, treatment, recovery, and living with what comes after. They're less planned, more direct, raw, and come from a different place than my earlier work.
